Idol's back
American Idol is back. I'm not sure if I think this is good or bad. I like Idol, but at the same time, I don't need the reason to watch more TV. And really, the first few weeks are funny, but they do get a tad long. How many "worst auditions ever" can there be. The guy that waxed his chest...pretty creepy! And the "stalker" guy....CREEPY! Im excited that this year they are going to focus on "Who they are" and not on famous people talking to them. I do like Simon, usually. He could be a bit more soft and fuzzy, but then he would be Paula and throw off the whole balance of the show.

I typically watch once the "hollywood" callbacks start. The fact that they play up these people who can't sing just perpetuates more of them to show up at auditions. And it just hurts my eardrums. Although I did catch tonight the last few and just have to say...do people not watch the show? I don't know of one single person who was ever dressed in a costume that made it through to hollywood. That's my 2 cents. And because I don't feel like logging in...have a great day...your anonymous friend Tina
As i was getting pulled into watching idol this week, i thought Simon was being more kind this year. He kept calling people sweetheart and dear and stuff. It made me chuckle a bit... but then again, maybe I just didn't pay attention to him last season.
